The cycle started earlier, but moves strongly now from 2004 to 2023. Ken is the Mountain. The energy is immobile, internal, a sitting meditation. There is protection from danger and obstacles that impede progress. During the Tui cycle we saw Guru’s popping up and a curiosity in many things. Under Ken we will learn to be discerning, authentic, and not easily convinced. We will tire of the easy distractions and shallow sex oriented mind-sets. The Young will question for truth and not be swayed by political rhetoric, media or advertising that is lacking substance. We are beginning a period of strength and spiritual constancy. This will be a year, for some, of sidestepping problems by clever manipulators. Do not be tricked by what appears to be intelligent guile. Think for yourself. Don’t allow yourself to tolerate the intolerable. Do not suffer fools gladly!

With the passage of Uranus (surprise, unpredictability and new) moving into Pisces (pure spirit), expect great changes in belief systems and religions. During the Piscean age, which we are leaving behind, we found a lot of religious guilt and fear. We were controlled by fear. Pisces in its negative mode, represents the victim. When one is the victim of others, parents, teachers, society, politicians etc. the blaming starts. However under the new Ken phase, new spiritual strengths will give courage and firm faith and hopefully - an end to the victim..

Uranian ruled groups will voice their opposition to bad legislation and tricky political behaviors.
They will demand an accounting and speak up against legislation that is passed for monetary reasons only. However I must warn that there is a down side to this energy. The tyrants will fight against change and some country’s conditions will worsen. The inflexibility and greediness of the leaders will mean more suppression. Do not for one minute think that it cannot happen here. It already is! Anyone who wants self-sovereignty and demands truth will be attacked. It is the time for genuine Heroes. Please support those who are brave enough to challenge the status quo.

The earthiness of the Mountain portends great prosperity and abundance. Power and wealth will shift worldwide and new millionaires will be made. The desire will be for a beneficial experience for everyone over the next 20 years. I have always said that if all the money in the world was evened out, we would all be millionaires! Trading in currencies may be a fertile place for profit, helped along by the North Node in Taurus, an earth sign.
Land masses will change and perhaps we can project this as new borders! I anticipate volcanic action and earthquakes due to the fact they are the only things that move mountains. There is some water here too, so floods moving rivers, reshaping mountains and flood plains, is to be expected. Metal is under wood this year, metal can cut off the roots of the tree. Follow me here now. Metal comes from deep in the earth and cools in layers to be mined. Liquid metal and rock is what is spewed out of the mountains, destroying the young wood! I see the metal as a metaphor for continuing battles to cut down new ideas and development. The boiling fury of those unwilling to change, will use the mighty sword to subdue the masses. However another interpretation is the Heroes of metal who rise up to cut the roots of the big old trees, felling them for eventual new growth and rebuilding of our society. Eventually as peace returns and rebuilding begins, the mountain will be quiet, peaceful, stoic, authentic and sincere.

The Monkey is clever, lucid, quick and tricky and beyond being influenced, but can wreck havoc just to satisfy their curiosity. The monkey people are known for taking things apart and putting them back together again, just to see how they tick, not always in accordance with the comfort of others. So do not think that the Metal will ultimately win out. The Monkey energy must be fast to avoid danger. The monkey cannot afford to be outwitted or undermined by anything. Metal rules the Law. So watch for legislation that cuts you legs out from under you. Keep moving around, diversify, outwit. Challenge yourself to use these energies this year.

Because the Monkey is brilliant and lucid, expect great advances in technology and robotics. Advancements in medical equipment, computers, quantum physics etc. The Consumer Electronic Conventions will burst with new and wonderful inventions - some the old-timers will not comprehend. The Monkey loves puzzles and games, so spread that energy over a panoply of politics, inventions, recreation and see what interpretations you can come up with!

There is an energy that could mean difficulty for agriculture and forestry. We already have the mad cow disease. I do foresee some problems with genetically altered crops and an outcry over same. Some good lands will be washed away with flooding, environments will change. Fortunately as metal is underneath, this means that eventually the new land masses will support excellent growth and renewal. Perhaps it is time for the Rainforest Action Network to gain your support for the future of your children. State Parks and National Parks are under threat during this period. They can be a source of danger. In California a mountain lion attacked a biker and that is only the beginning. Remember I told you that this was the time of year to celebrate Fauna - then take me literally. If the great God Pan (Nature) is disturbed - watch out! Pan was known for his terrifying loud cry, panicking everyone!

The danger this year comes from the middle or mid of anything. So mid-east and central America are areas to watch. Terrorist attacks will continue along with political assassinations. Bombings are still to be anticipated. The warmer equator countries will see a resurgence in their economies for those who choose to invest there. The south-east will rally. Metal is money, so money is to be made this year. Industries related to wood will suffer because of the metal underneath (paper, newspapers, magazines, textiles etc.). Metal is also gold, jewelry and mined wealth. However the Earth is strong which includes anything mined from the earth and for investing in land. Water industries will gradually improve. An example is the launching of the new Queen luxury liner.
I have also been picking up on covert developments of military bases under the water. Huge centers built in the sides of underwater cliffs. These are highly secret and not exactly new, but I see some increase in activity in this area. With the passing of Uranus into Pisces we get new technology to do with the oceans and other dimensions. It is all just in the beginning phase, but will happen.

EXCITING TIMES AHEAD

The most fascinating changes to watch for me is the combination of the Ken cycle and the Uranus move into Pisces. What an amazing time in the next ten years. This will mean a great awakening of compassion and an increase in intuitive wisdom. I have always said I have been looking forward to this time so that the transcendental work I do, will finally be accepted and given validity. The increase in Remote Viewing is a beginning example. Everyone will use heightened senses and perceptions. There will be passionate pioneers for truth at any cost, no sacrifice great enough to be successful. Some of the inventions are the result of thought seeds planted 70 years ago and new ones for 70 years into the future. Voice activated systems, implanted microchips for medical purposes are just some of the wonders that will be available. Obviously one can see the ramifications in the spy world, but with the advanced group consciousness, they won’t go undetected for too long.

Well on a closing note I want to mention Jupiter the gift-giver, moving into Libra on September 26th. Libra holds sway over contracts, commitments and marriages. New and wonderful partnerships will be made. A new rush to marriage will seem very romantic. Perhaps the President knows astrology all too well. He announced a grant to study marriages and aid in couples marrying. I don’t know what this has to do with Government or how the Government benefits, but he is using the timing very well for successful reception to his idea!

There will be a return, hopefully, to good manners, civility, beauty, diplomacy, music and art. We can see a clean-up in the Judicial system and parties, socializing, great conversation will abound. Sweet smelling ladies, elegant gentlemen, great theater, decorative arts and culture will increase. No doubt by then the war in Iraq will have subsided and a rebuilding of diplomacy with the damaged allies will begin. There will be deals to be made, (probably for the hidden treasures in Iraq that no-one knows about except for a select few). We will still have to watch the South Node in Scorpio yet. Devilish, devious, destruction is still a very real threat, however the North Node in Taurus portends a return to wealth and property. I finish with one of my own quotes:-
