The Sun is Lord of Light, Liberty, Life and Love

We are non-existent without light. The light and energy from the Sun is the great illuminator and the precursor to all life. Light on this planet, must precede all manifestation. This is how consciousness begins. The cosmic All That Is (God) manifests itself symbolically through our Sun and divides itself into all our various personalities and processes. Some say the Sun is symbolic of the Holy Guardian Angel. If you go back to Aries, we talked about the cosmic energy penetration and symbolic seeding in the head. We are actually bombarded constantly from the cosmos. The Tarot “Sun” card is Resh - Head. Now that seed has matured and birthed in the next fire sign - Leo.

MAN, THEN, IS GOD IN CONTEMPLATION OF HIMSELF

(Think about this now, this makes you an atom of God and therefore - co-creator.)

Up to now we have been discussing the walls, containers and physical tombs of manifestation and now Spirit is free to leap forth into creativity. The Fool’s journey now takes us through the kingdom of Leo the Lion. After the cool fluidic kingdom of Cancer and the Moon, the heat and Sun of Leo is welcomed.

From the divine spark that entered the mystic center of the brain-maze in the middle of the head, came the golden thread that leads us on through all the signs. In Taurus we began the spinning energy and the budding and then in Gemini we found the nervous network and thread that wove the flesh. In Cancer the divisions of the body formed and a home for the spirit was completed.

From Cancer, and the Stork/Crane there is a spiral Crane dance which was sacred to the Moon Goddess Diana/Artemis. The crane/stork month is during the month of Leo. This is the bird (spirit) born out of the Cancer feminine Ark or womb. The bird symbol represents the feminine or subconscious right brain and the fact that she is a bird that walks on land and also flies, shows that the way out of the labyrinth, is always through the higher mind!

Aries/Mars gave us development of the left rational brain; Venus/Mercury gave us rulership over the right brain and its clever gifts of creativity and receptivity. Cancer/Moon has rulership over the subconscious mind and Leo over the Conscious state. When we get to Aquarius, we will learn about the Higher Mind and Higher Consciousness.

Now out of the womb of Cancer the Divine Child is born! The fruit of the womb. Any idea of sin and death is non existent as the newfound freedom has brought creativity, pleasures, social life and many children. But not so fast...................! The Leo sign is represented by a Lion - an animal! The Divine Spark is now materialized in an animal body. The animal’s instincts are survival in the manifest world which the Spirit/Soul of creativity, struggles to handle.

Let’s explore this new born creature. In the Tarot the Leo card is Strength and is a picture of a woman riding on the back of a Lion. The animal Lion represents humility and subjugation of the animal nature. The woman riding it has overcome her animal desires, she has them under control. The Leo statement is - I Will! Curiously the Hebrew letter here is Teth, which is serpent! It is probably a good time to mention that the golden thread I have been mentioning is also represented symbolically as a serpent. (The kundalini snake at the bottom of the Leo ruled spine.) And Leo’s lion tail is a symbolic snake!

The fire of the Summer caused some kind of internal combustion. Man is as manifest as he can be, and ripening! He should have, by now, found the magical faculty of concentration as a result of centering! When we are concentrating on some creative project, we lose sense of time, space and pain. With luck we have combined the animal/spiritual body and entered some cosmic portal that transports us. We have removed ourselves from the present. Inhibitions and self consciousness melt away free of our usual self-critical conscious self. We are centered, which is the Latin root of “to concentrate.” This is what makes Leos such good actors, they know how to focus and concentrate on their creative efforts.

In the golden month of August when the Sun is at its highest in the sky, the fruits of the trees have fully formed and are ripe for the harvesting in the September month. The prefix - Au - literally means - Gold! Augeo means to make grow - to increase. Also to be ‘august’ is to be Royal, holy, dignified and majestic. Gold is the color of Nobility. Hence we get Noblesse Oblige, meaning nobility, with all this support, is obligated to serve.

The Sun, Aton-Ra, makes the earth. The earth produces man and man adapts to the region. So says Schwaller de Lubicz who very clearly showed how measure and man were correlated. The picture of Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian man showing how man’s measure is in the manifested square or the spiritual circle.
		The other picture is of the Egyptian Ramses with erect phallus as an indication of measure(click on the image for a larger view). In the da Vinci painting, the center of the circle is the navel and the man’s phallus flaccid. In the square, the center is at his phallus - erect. The circle is heaven, the square earth. Our work is to reconcile both animal man and spiritual man together indicating we are heaven and earth simultaneously. As a spiritual man, the sexual/creative nature is harnessed. The navel center is the solar plexus for receiving and distributing information. It is rhombic and spins. Fear creates a disturbance in the energy field and we get butterflies in the stomach area.

Remember back in Taurus I introduced you to X. The letter X corresponds to the Greek khi
(key) (X) and has the same meaning esoterically. X is the symbol for measure in all its possibilities, height, length, space, duration, rule, law and limit. It is the signature of light by the light itself. The X, or Saint Andrews cross, is the divine cross as opposed to the crucifixion cross on which man is hung, the X cross is the cross of transformation, creation and manifestation. Refer back to the da Vinci picture and the physical cross.

The Egyptians spoke of ‘Intelligence of the Heart’. This actually means a measure of intelligence - how to take one’s measure is to judge their worth. The measure of a man is his behavior and ethics. Intelligence is to be measured, centered and concentrated. This all happens when the rational brain and the animal instincts come together in the portal of the heart!

The Sun, Aton-Ra, was represented as a circle with a dot in the middle, just as the Sun in Astrology represents consciousness, and Leo’s ruler is the Sun. Ergo- the golden Leo/man is the son of the Sun.

This is also the symbol of the inner life developing in the protective circle.
Other meanings are - fire - Sunday - annual - and Leo’s metal - Gold!

The gold of Leo is God incarnate and is physical perfection as opposed to spiritual perfection. The physical has to be as perfect as possible in order to carry the higher superior energy. It is said that gold is the highest sublimation of matter by power of Light. Your body is the urn that carries the spiritual waters that eventually pour out in the opposite sign of Aquarius.

Now, pause for a moment and reflect back to Aries and the vault in the sacred hidden place in the head where the treasure is kept. This is where you will store your spiritual gold. It is.............

WISDOM

is stored up there from life’s experiences. This wonderful yellow/gold is the color of spiritual wisdom and Gurus. It is the saffron and mustard colors of the robes of the Buddhist priests. We also find motivational speakers, teachers, guidance counselors, heroes and heroines etc. This energy has to be put out in some form of service. The Leo/person enthusiastically (fire) moves through life’s journey, experiencing anything he/she desires, storing up a history to be savored. It is courage, truth, joyful, expectant and knowledgeable, it is without guile. The word enthusiasm is of Greek origin - enthousiasmos, from enthous which means ‘possessed by a god!’

Leo is known to be magnanimous; the root word is mag meaning to move, which is energy in motion. Mag also means ferocious, as a Lion when irritated, magnus means great and animus is mind so Leo/yellow/gold energy represents one ‘of great mind or wisdom.’ It is the color of personal wisdom and generosity. I know at times we feel ferocious as the picture. Did you notice the word origin here? Latin fero (ferre) gives us - to bear, bring and carry, to display and make public. It is also ferocia, in a good sense, high spirited, courageous. Need I say more?

Because of the concentration of energy at one point - (the point of power) - and using will, this color can represent a telepathic communication. The intense intelligent energy gives the ability to read minds or pick up on the thoughts and feelings of others.

It should not be a shock to you then to find out that the Leo salt is Magnesium! (Mag/Phos) I find this salt to be very important. It is very alkaline and looks white, but when heated it gives off a rich ultra violet of its opposite sign Aquarius! Remember those old flash bulbs we used in photography? They contained magnesium. It is dia-magnetic, which means repelled by a magnet at a right angle. Leo is a fixed outgoing magnetic sign and pushes the energy out from the right angle of Aries.

With all this loving energy flowing around, it is time to talk about the heart! The heart is ruled by the Sun and Leo. In Latin the heart is cor (cordis) the internal seat of feeling and the spiritual anima (breath/spirit) and animus (the rational soul). To re-cord means to remember or learn by heart. Cordaites means wise in Latin. In Greek, kardea means true inner self - not outer self. The heart weighs only 1% of the body and has so much power. Think about it. It is truly amazing.

Some years ago I was fortunate to be at a lecture given by Dr. Ingrid Naiman who so cleverly understood the power of Astrology with the health of the physical body. She told a story that moved me greatly. She had found in her practice that people whose hearts were closed off, often suffered heart attacks or heart problems, when some life experience forced it to open. A death or loss, falling in love or a simple exercise in considering another’s feelings would bring this on! I have found this information to be correct.

It is the bellows pumping the spirited blood throughout the body, its silent pulse rhythmically tapping out our existence with internal percussion. When its internal rhythm stops, so do we! Leo also rules the spine and back and its 33 vertebrae or mystical ladder for ascent and decent of vital forces up and down - it is the stairs to heaven! This is our personal Vril Rod. It is our staff that comforts us. The brain at the top is the sacred chamber. To lack courage is to be ‘spineless!’ To be strong is to ‘put your back into it.’ We carry loads on our backs. We ‘back-up’ our files and information. All these references telling us the importance of our upright rod.

Now Leo’s expression is a holistic love! Not love for another human but will in action. “The Book of the Law” states that the code of conduct is “Do what thou wilt, shall be the whole of the law”. Wow! How terrific! Love is the law, love under will. You are a star and move in your own special orbit. All you have to do is what you love! The opposite of Leo is Aquarius, represented by a STAR and a man pouring spirit out of his URN. Anyone very successful is called a Star.

“Thelema” is the Greek word for “will” and has the same numerical value as “Agape” the Greek word for love. Each act or motion is an act of love that will unite us with the whole! You have to participate in your own life! You have to choose carefully so as to not thwart your true nature. It is, with the baptism of fire of intelligence, that one gains comprehension of the All That Is.

This now brings us to a possible interpretation of some Egyptian alphabet letters and a symbol I found. The oval is the mouth sign, sometimes called the mouth of Ra (sun). The other snake like scroll is either the SS hiss sign (snake or energy) or the sign of O which means golden. I realize this is all interpretation, but if you can follow me here, we have been talking about combining the physical man with the spiritual man, the centering of the right and left brain which gives us the vesica piscas, then it would follow that this ancient writing is telling us something along the same lines. A very loose interpretation is that magical properties can be obtained when one is centered - which also means to be protected. This centering allows great expansion.

Following on from this I cannot go further without mentioning the work of Sir Laurence Gardiner and his work on the super conductive energy field of high spin metallurgy. We are talking about monatomic gold. The gold mentioned above appears to have properties that we can use for ascension when taken ritualistically! This ultimately leads us to being in two places at one time or bi-location!

Well, well, well! What have we here? Sir Laurence states that the Pharaohs partook of manna which he claims was gold altered for ascension. Gold is part of our mineral make-up so it is entirely possible that in our own physical labs, we can do the same! Andrea Puharich interpreted these symbols to be the golden sacred mushroom, however I believe the physics of high spin superconductivity may be more accurate.

It is entirely possible to reach an altered state with mushrooms and also sacred sex, as the symbol is quite sexual. But we would be talking about animal man, not spiritual man. I am open for input about the above as interpreting is a personal journey and all a learning experience.

There is a tale of a magic bird of heaven called “Roc.” This roc was the mortal enemy of serpents. He is said to have carried Sinbad the Sailor to great heights where he lost sight of earth. He was then transported to the valley of diamonds.

We have talked about the Stone/rock before. The roc has power over lowly energy (serpents) and can carry our ‘bad’ ‘sins’ out of earth’s clutches and transports us to the place of diamonds (Leo’s stone.) I have already told you this rock resides in the vault in the center of your head, a very high place.

Well there you have it! At the beginning I mention the breath of God was represented by the letter H which is breathed into man. One of the old Gods of Egypt was Hu who represented the uttered word. Hu represents the sound of all sounds, and it is frequency pre manifestation. So the Creator blew his breath Huuoooo into his creation as an act of love for its creation and we became

The H spirit breath is emptied into the U (urn) and combined makes us divine hu-mans.

Hopefully as you read these pages, you concentrated and focused. You had a change of heart and allowed it to open. You let the Sun into your life. You roared out with a ferocious determination of will. You gained intelligence by measuring your worth. You discovered that you do not fall in and out of love, you are...............
